Programming for strength today, @prestonlobliner pulled 215 on hex-bar deadlifts, a PR!

He’s been working hard during football season to make sure he can roll right into wrestling season. He also plays travel soccer year round.

This kid is a powerhouse!

Today’s workout was strength based - we will work on running form later on our @trueformrunning .

Hex-Bar Deadlifts: 105x3, 145x3, 195x2, 215x1
Slant-Board Goblet Squats: 4 Sets of 5 Reps
Reverse Sled Drags: 4x40 yards
Single Leg Romanian Deadlift: 3 sets of 5 Reps

While it is false that working out stunts your growth, it's not false that putting to much pressure on a rapidly developing body Is not the best for his joints when he becomes and adult

That will stunt his growth a lot if he keeps doing that, it puts a lot of pressure on his lower back
