Grant, you are a great teacher. I'm 57 and have been playing golf since I was 12. I've never heard anyone explain the wrist position so clearly. Your Dad was right when he said the great teachers make it simple. I rarely comment but I am truly impressed.

Watching grant on camera now is so impressive compared to where he was at the start of his good good journey. He was so nervous back then. Full of confidence now! Love to see it!

I cannot stress enough how much this video has changed my golfing experience. Every shot is seriously straight with a good flight, and springs off the face since following this video. Thank you so much for this, Grant. You are amazing!!!

I’ve taken lessons from some of the best instructors in the country over the years. Lots of tour player experience, etc. These kids are a lot more clear and simple in working through the typical issues most players struggle with.

Oh my Grant of destiny, I am a 12 HCP who usually floats around the mid to low 80s on a good day. I watched this video last night and went into todays round with only one swing thought, to keep my wrist flat, i just broke 80 today for the first time on a par 72 course. 78 off the stick thanks to this video. You are the real MVP Grant.

Grant grew up with a Dad as a swing coach and it shows, so much knowledge, thanks for sharing.

I started bowing my wrist on my drive. Used to be slicer. Now if I miss it's a hook. Most the time it goes 250-270 with minimal effort. If I really try to smash it it can get to 300 with less accuracy. The bowed wrist is key if you're slicing try it out. Great lesson bud.

Best one yet for me. The last week I have working on bowing my wrist, and my full iron and wedge shots have been way more consistent. Getting way more yardage too. I feel like a new golfer!!. Thank you so much for these videos.

Wow, after years of being told the wrist should be flat at the top of the backswing you are the first person to explain that if you have a strong grip its ok to have a little extension at the top of the backswing. I have had countless lessons by different coaches and they all said the wrist should be flat which never felt right. I have been out and tested your advice and its made a world of difference it feels right and my shots are suddenly great and more consistent. I’m a 67 year old male who is hitting the ball better than ever after 2 practice sessions I hit a 7 iron about 165 yards with no effort now I am not trying to flatten my wrist at the top of the backswing. Thanks for this and your other videos they are entertaining and great advice.

I took this to the range yesterday and it's completely transformed my swing. This may be the best tip I've ever gotten, b/c it really ties the downswing together. I would always stand up on the ball and could never really figure out why... now that my wrist is flat, I'm able to turn through the ball instead of flicking at it.

Great video! I play with a strong grip position and see everyone saying you need to get it flat but don’t explain that if you have a strong grip then it won’t be flat or bowed. I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t get it there but now I know

Nobody wants to fix this, but it’s important. It’s the true secret to crisp, straight iron play. Your iron shots will be so compressed, that you will actually hear a different sound than you’re probably used to hearing. You’ll hear the ball “hiss” when it comes off the face. One key thing it does is put the grip slightly ahead of the club head through impact. If you don’t believe me, set up to the ball, then bow your left wrist. Now, look what a perfect impact position you’re in. It’s like magic. He also touched on how it shallows the shaft, at the top. Just like he said…. This keeps the shaft more behind you, and allows you to turn through the ball. It’s refreshing to see someone address this true secret to irons. Great video, Grant.

Just started watching recently, within the last 2 months I sparked an interest for the game of golf! Glad I did! And I’m glad a good friend showed me your channel!! I watch every night now!

Great video and great drill! I had a friend (who's played for 20+ years and who's dad is a golf pro) recently tell me I need to work on flattening/bowing my wrist. Definitely helps explain why I have such a hard time shallowing the club and tend to get really steep. Will definitely be something I work on moving forward.
