In this video, we’re going to talk about the benefits of rebounding exercise.

NASA has done a lot of research on rebounding exercise. When you’re in space without gravity, you begin to lose your bone tissue and muscle tissue. Rebounding exercise is designed to counter these problems.

Rebounding exercise is essentially jumping on a trampoline.

There are quite a few benefits of rebound exercises. Rebounding:
• Is convenient
• Helps mobility
• Help posture
• Helps balance
• Helps fear of falling
• Reduces risk of osteoporosis
• Stimulates the thyroid and lymphatic system

In my opinion, the biggest benefit is its ability to stimulate the lymphatic system. Some of the plasma in your blood leaks out of your tissues and goes into the lymphatic system. This means that the lymph in your lymphatic system is made up of plasma along with other substances. The plasma eventually returns to the bloodstream.

Interestingly, your lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump as the vascular system does. This means that you have to move your body for your lymph to circulate your body.

Aside from transporting plasma, the lymphatic system has two other significant roles: to support the immune system and to transport fat throughout the body.

When you consume dietary fat, it goes through the lymphatic system. Since fat and water do not mix, your body has to package the fat—using something called chylomicrons—in a way that it can be transported easily through the lymph fluid.

From there, the fat is carried throughout the body to be used for energy and the creation of hormones, cells, and bile.

Many people have found that rebounding exercise has restored their energy. This is the true benefit of rebound exercise.

I am 58 and been rebounding for 2 years. Within 10 months I completely corrected my bladder leakage problem. In the beginning the leakage was very problematic! And months later I noticed NOTHING. Zero leakage. I guess I strengthened my pelvic floor/muscles.
Rebounding is amazing!!

I started rebounding a week ago, every day for 30min, one night I couldn’t get enough and did 1.5h, and the results are amazing. My energy shot up almost immediately, and it seems to keep increasing so far. My body became noticeably more toned and even my complexion looks brighter and more youthful! Apart from that, I cannot wait to do it every day. Put good energising music on and off you go, freestyle, have fun! I love it, and it’s so much easier than regular exercise. Even though I’m out of breath many times, I feel invigorated and I don’t actually feel physically tired. Post workout I’m wheezing around the house like a teenager! This is life changing and I am so glad I found it ❤

I began rebounding on a mini trampoline 6mo ago at the age of 67. I bounce (not jump) on my rebounder 5 days a week for 1 hr ea. session. Jumping high is not what's important, it's the resistance you get by pressing into the mat. The stiffer the mat the more resistance you have. I've never felt better. My energy level is strong and I lost 18 lbs fairly quickly. I have degenerative back disease and rebounding has helped with the pain and to strengthen my back. Some classes you can watch on youtube, the leaders are jumping like crazy high and fast. That is not necessary and isn't even fun for me. If you want more in depth knowledge of rebounding, watch Dave Hall - Cellerciser.

Someone gave me a trampoline. I couldn't walk too much due to a sciatica. When I started using it, I did so good. My injured groin didn't hurt at all and my sciatica didn't bother me. I cried. I cried so much because I felt so good about it.

What Dr Berg has not mentioned, is that you can achieve major health benefits from rebounding on a small, indoor-size trampoline. No somersaults and backflips necessary!

Dr. Berger I am 61, 6’ 1”, 181 pounds, for several years I had a big problem with chronic pain in my feet. I tried many things after seeing the doctor, she suggested I take additional vitamins, another one said that my fat pad on the bottom of my feet was thinning they sent me to get orthotics which didn’t work. I went to an acupuncturist that helped a little. What seems to work the best is I’ve been using a rebounder every day for about three weeks now and my feet feel better than they have in a long long time. Just thought this might help some of your other viewers.

Also Helps with eyesight. As your bouncing focus on an object and change every few minutes to another object. Objects in your peripheral vision only bounce. Slowly correcting eyesight over time.

Another great benefit of rebounding is your calf muscles acting as a pump. Pumping your blood back up.

This form of exercise also works the brain and head & neck

I’m 64 & My body is getting so strong, every day with rebounding. Lost 10 pounds in 30 days with no change in what I eat. No more joint pain, no more problems holding my bladder. I started at 20 minutes per day, now I’m up to 90 minutes per day. I do LOW impact bouncing using Rebounding beginner videos on YouTube by Earth and Owl, and San Fran Fitness. I had my heart checked before I started to make sure it would be ok (Coronary Calcium Test, and EKG). All was good, so I dove in 😇

I have been rebounding on and off for years. It feels wonderful and I can tell the difference when I stop after a couple days. It awakens my whole body and supports bowel passage. This is a wonderful exercise

When I first got my rebounder, a bounced 10 minutes. Then I decided to do 10 more, I ended up doing 30 minutes and loosening my hips. Then I immediately went outside w my son that had been asking me to play badminton. I didn't miss a beat! At 40, I was beating my 18 year old son like never before. I am a believer in rebounding from experience! It helps fatigue and lubricates your joints!

Check out what is called “the health bounce”. Your feet don’t have to leave the mat to get benefits. I’m 70 and use mine every day. I don’t want to walk when it cold or rainy. Love to bounce while watching YouTube videos!!

My sister gave me her old rebounder 4 days ago, & I can't believe how much better I personally feel--like more young-at-heart again❤ but the most amazing thing is that my injured knee hasn't swelled in 3 days, & actually feels stronger, like it's actually healing. Thank you so much for this video 😊❤❤ I love this rebounder with the handles.
