You're endorsing the product that sponsored the video. It's a little frustrating because I was hoping you'd objectively review all the best possible methods. Instead I am clearly steered toward the product that paid for the video.

An important step of drying the ears with a hair dryer after irrigation is often overlooked. One has to make sure the ear gets dry or else risk getting a fungal infection.Once a fungal infection takes hold then special rather potent smelling antifungal drops are needed for around 10 days. Followed by a doctor visit to make sure the fungus is gone and to scoop out any dead fungal spores.

I read a review on Amazon by a nurse who recommended devices that should have a tri-stream tip instead of a single jet of water—supposedly less invasive, squirts water around the edges of the canal where the wax build up is rather than squirting it straight into the center of the ear.

Hydrogen peroxide applied via bulb in the shower works well for me. A hair dryer to dry out the canal afterwards. This technique was recommended to me by an ear specialist.

My primary care doctor suggested Debrox to clean out some hard wax in my ear canal. I put in the drops as instructed and I immediately had severe pain. It was horrible and I tilted my head to remove the liquid and the pain started to lessen in a few minutes.

I get hard ear wax build up and I use debrox to soften it up. Works great. One time my ears were so cake up with wax I lost hearing and went to nurse. She had me apply debrox for four days, once per day then went i went in she used a sprayer like the one on video to rinse out. I use debrox ever six months now and after a few days of applying, once per day. I usually rinse ear in shower and i keep ears cleaned. If debrox cause pain it is usually if you have a perforated ear drum otherwise see a doctor.

Thanks very much for this video! I was having significant issues with this, I went and purchased the wax blaster and within minutes I was all sorted. Don't listen to the haters casting aspersions on being a shill. Why wouldn't you want sponsorship from a legit product and company? I am very grateful for this video and the efficacious product you recommended here. It's a game changer for me.

In Canada, ear wax cleaning by a doctor or a nurse is free.

Heavy buildup of ear wax will affect your hearing for sure.

I had a myrongotomy when I was 15. Ever since then, I've had swimmers ear. I'm not really sure irrigation would be an ideal solution for me as water tends to stay trapped in my ear for a time. I'm still willing to try, I suppose.

i use a 60ml syringe fill it with warm water thats cool enough to comfortably dip your hand in its warm but not too HOT! i fire that inside the ear and a lump of wax comes out, it doesnt hurt might tickle a little, its instant relief from the pain and loss of hearing its so easy its just natural warm water no salt or oils or soaps or anything just warm water to flush it out it works a treat.

Wow, interesting comments here! So, i did see you responded to the comment about the video from 3 years ago, at the time, this product did little besides helping lossen wax to make it easier to professionally remove it. However, this is a video for people to remove normal wax at home? You mentioned that they improved it, which is great, but any chance of doing a video like the one from 3 years ago to demonstrate that it actually removed the wax? As well, i would be interested in a home electric errigator. Understanding that professional models are both effective and very expensive, would you be willing to test the most popular electric budget minded water errigators found online, such as the KAUGIC Electric Ear Wax Removal Tool etc. Many videos on these things but impossible to know if they are effective and safe from the info given and they are not professionals. Thanks!

80 bucks for a spray bottle is insane to me, I don't see the cost being justified

Back at this on my own. Used to have my right ear flushed at the Urgent Care clinic in MA where I lived about every 4 years. Been in Florida 3 years and had to go last week for a flush. They will NOT use warm water here. Can't due to risk of burns, I was told...should have walked out then but let them try with room temp water. Made me very dizzy and didn't get much out. Been using Debrox and very warm water on my own the past 4 days and hoping I get the rest out. Sill can't really hear. Will NEVER get this done again in Florida.

Olive oil works great to soften ear wax and does not cost a fortune! A couple of drops in the bad ear at bed time for a couple days for hard buildup works very well. The wax will come out in the shower most of the time but sometimes a rinser is needed.

Agree objectivity compromised by recommending product video sponsor.
However agree with principle that regular irrigation effective.

I use the bottle with flexible pipe. Comfortable to hold and control keeping arms within the sink area.

The warning about not irrigating with perforated eardrums probably should have been the first thing said in that section of the video.

You had a video 3 yrs ago saying this product was not effective for removing ear wax. What has changed other than the sponsorship?
