Looking for an easy and delicious chicken for the grill? Greek Chicken Souvlaki is full of flavor and turns out so moist!

Ingredients:

2 lbs (1 kg) Chicken breast
1 Tbsp Salt
1/2 Tbsp White pepper
2 Tbsp Dried Oregano
2 Garlic cloves
2 Tbsp Olive oil
Juice of one lemon

I’m going to try but will throw it in the crockpot. I know I won’t have the crispiness bc I’m terrible at grilling. Glad measurements were included.

I dont have white pepper...will regular black pepper be ok or will there be a big difference?

i'd also put some garlic powder cause those chopped garlic wont stick flavor onto the chicken like that. Also, i see some people add greek yogurt in their marinade too

The garlic needs to be minced or it won’t stick, also never add salt into a marinade it will take out moisture. Always add salt after cooking. It’s better to marinate in yogurt as well it will tenderise the chicken.

Great chicken souvlaki. Herbs are similar to Italian cuisine. It's a long way off from Turkish and Middle Eastern marinated kebab. Ps. I loved the music.

I'd dare say the only way chicken souvlaki makes sense is on the grill, though chicken breast tends to dry very quickly and has little flavor.
