People were always amazed that I was completely self taught and played by ear and memory. After a while I had perfect pitch, but I haven't played in so many years and now I have to relearn everything.
This was the method I used when I was 8 or 9 y/o, but it's cool seeing other people learn it. Currently in search of a shortcut to get myself back to my old abilities. Any other tips you know to achieving perfect pitch?

is it always the chord a song starts with, the key of a song and how do u know if its a minor or major chord? And if a song is in the key of C and u play a C chord, and the next is a F chord, how do u know where to play the F chord, whether it is above the C or below it?
