He’s right. We are to study scripture precept upon precept, line upon line (Isaiah 28:13) and we are to compare scripture with scripture rightly dividing the word of truth (2nd Timothy 2:15).

Glad you said it. Too many build up narrative on paper thin context and thus God's word become ornamented by human imagination thus leading themselves and others down corridors that do not exist or to places the word never intended the follower to arrive. Of Biblical scripture, I often say "pay attention to what was said and what was not said"

I hope JESUS has introduced you to my young wife. I only found after she passed so I never got to turn her on to your beautiful teaching she would love talking with you she was such an intellectual not a cement head like her firefighter husband. JESUS IS *ONLY* WITH THE FATHER (for ex.):

THE FATHER WHO IS WITH JESUS IS A SPIRIT:
"God [the Father] is a spirit" (Jn. 4:23, 24)
THAT SPIRIT WHO IS WITH JESUS IS CALLED "HOLY" BY HIM:
""And whoever may speak a word against the Son of Man it shall be forgiven to him, but whoever may speak against the "Holy Spirit", it shall not be forgiven him, "
THE FATHER, WHO IS A SPIRIT AND CALLED "HOLY SPIRIT" :
- dealt with Mary's pregnancy
- spoke when Jesus was baptized
- helped Jesus when going into the wilderness
- helped Jesus also later in speaking, to speak the correct words
- can also generally be present in very selected people.
THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO COMES FROM THE FATHER (WHO IS NOT A SPIRIT) IS THUS THE SAME FATHER, NOT A THIRD PERSON.
