What an interesting way to look at light- see, you can always learn something new huh- by looking at things from a different angle. I had never considered this angle, but it reminds us that light is produced when electrons relax back to their lower energy state- meaning something has excited them. The fact that the electrons of any atom assume a certain configuration as far as what energy shell they sit in allows not only to do chemistry but also make sure things are whatever color they are- always. Green grass will always be green- because of how the electrons sit around the atoms that make it up. That's what allowed them to bond together, and it's what makes them green when we shine a light on them.

Atoms are mostly empty space and in theory, with an infinite amount of tries and time, you should be able to put your hand through a solid object if the vibrational frequency of your atoms sync with the gaps in the atoms of the solid material.
