The best solution is rustdesk because you can set your own server. I am using a free oracle cloud vm when I deployed rustdesk via docker. Works like a charm.

Some have commented to me that this will eventually go all commercial like TeamViewer and other in the past. This is unlikely as the core technology with open source. Its the satellite server offering that the developer is charging for.. but you could always write your own, and there are examples of the code in the repo. So it's unlikely/impossible to go that way.

In any case I would be happy to pay a minimal $50 per year for access to a commercial satellite service. But not $50 per month. Outrageous.

Parsec doesn't need high performance graphics cards, I have it set up on my desktop as the host, I connect to it with my laptop and play games, no problem at all
