they have these restaurants in hawaii too!! im only aware of the one in hilo on the big island but there might be some on the other islands too!! genki sushi is delicious! i miss eating there🥲🥲

For such a clean and modern country, I’m surprised that all sushi restaurants in Japan don’t have some form of protection for the sushi. At my local place in the US, all the sushi comes covered in a plastic lid that opens up when you tug the plate. Then again, that sushi place is actually a brand from Japan that extended to the US.

The enjoyable part isn't just the food but the train coming and leaving the stable(station+table)

There are sushi places that have the sushi in plastic domes that you have to lift up to get out and it's hard for adults to do so I imagine tricky for a child to do too. That might also help.

Btw, Genki sushi is not only in Japan. From my experience, you can find it in Singapore and Indonesia

I’ve gone to some that have a plastic case on top and u can’t touch the sushi unless u open it and then u will know if someone has touched it :)

Idk if there are other Kura locations outside of Texas or DFW but they have this bowl that covers the sushi and whatever you want you have to open it fast and grab the plate !

Ahh! We have A genki sushi here in my location! One of my favorites, fresh sushi always and directly delivered and prepared right in front of you with affordable prices ❤ I recommend!
