Microsoft Lists | Bulk Edit Lists with Quick Edit or Grid View

In this video we're going to give you some tips to help you edit your lists using 'Quick Edit'* and 'Grid view', including ways you can use drag selection and pasting to and from other apps.

Please note that literally the day we published this video, Microsoft started to rename the 'quick edit' view to 'grid view'. So some people are seeing 'quick edit' some people are seeing 'grid view'. They are basically the same thing with a different name. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi! I'm wondering if you click on the selection dots. Then in the highlighted row you can see a tiny white square in the bottom right corner. When you hover the mouse over the cursor changes adding a small "person" on it. Whats that for?

Dear, somehow when I copy bulk rows and columns from excel to SP list, everything merged in one cell. Do you know why this happens and how to solve it? btw. I am copying the rows and columns from an excel table. Thank!

i can't see the «edit in grid view». I've seen it before and it's much easier to add many items but now the option is gone.... help!

The duplicate button is still missing; select multiple rows and click duplicate. Only way to duplicate rows is to go to last row, select it and drag down. This is slow as it only allows one row at a time to be duplicated.

Hi guys, does anybody know why Microsoft Lists Export button does not work on Mac (endless processing)? Actually, there is "Export to CSV" instead of "Export to Excel".

Hey Collaboration Coach, I have a question. I'm trying to set up my Team's List to represent an Excel spreadsheet to track searchable information. I am unable to set the viewed list I'm the customization I have it in but when fellow employees see it it is in alphabetical order. Any ideas?
