EVERY motherboard should have this!
Here's a quick, unplanned video showing off a few things -- a REALLY cool new feature for select ASUS Z690 motherboards (imho), an update on some items that went missing for my unboxing video earlier in the week, and a special in-person delivery for Juan, the winner of the all-AMD gaming PC October giveaway. He thanked us with tamales, which were delicious.

The features I've been most excited about recently don't have anything to do with the actual hardware. It's stuff like the Q release and the Q latch on the m.2 slots that are the most interesting. You should definitely keep the cutting board as a display item. Also, I really enjoy this type of content.

Congratulations Juan! By the way showing thanks with tamales is very cool.
Hope you and your little brother enjoy Paul's build.

Ooo....Paul got homemade tamales out of the delivery. Soo worth it. Not even being sarcastic. Homemade tamales are bomb AF

Things you wouldn't expect to hear from someone working on a computer: "I'm using the natural bow of the chopstick."

Tamales?!? Do you have enough to share with everyone?
Congrats to Juan! Class act Paul.
Cutting board…either treat it like a collector’s item and concomitant burden on space, or just use the sucker and be reminded of Corsair frequently. It can be sanded back to its original luster!

It's always a pleasure watching Paul poking expensive things with a stick 🤣

Seriously though, this feature from ASUS needs to become industry standard asap.

To no surprise i has this exact issue getting the GPU out of a build with a noctua NHD-15 cooler and this would have made life painless.

The quick release feature is so good!!! What I like the most about it is that the button itself isn't in line with the card. Having it placed just above where the top of the card would be lined up means you'd always be able to get at it. Genius.

Paul with a chopstick trying to remove a video card: Paul Probing. I had to 😄. After doing it a few times I searched to see if it was ok then broke of the latch so I wouldn't have to deal with that again.

Another great give-away from Paul, and that motherboard Q-release...kudos to Asus on that one. I hope other mfgs really think about assembly challenges and improvements that can be made on their products. Enjoy your new PC Juan!

I love that cutting board. Nice and thick, stable, and with a channel all-round to catch juices. Great board for the kitchen.

1:58 - 2:00, the wood shavings peeled off the chop stick. Don’t worry about dust, this will put flammable wood into places you’ll have a hard time cleaning.

Good idea, but a plastic popsicle stick should be flatter (thinner) while maintaining a fair amount of rigidity.
