it's not good for everyone. for some women it can cause sensitivity and acne

I've shaved my face and it has helped make my skin look and feel better. It also makes makeup look less cakey.

Hi Doctor Youn, I absolutely love your videos! I wanted to say though that dermaplaning doesn’t work for everyone - I tried it, and as a person with very sensitive skin I had an awful reaction and ended up with severe folliculitis! Just wanted to give a heads up to other people with sensitive and reactive skin - all my friends love dermaplaning but for me it ended up with antibiotics and a year of healing my skin barrier and scars.

I don't care how much ppl promote face shaving. My skin is sensitive n my facial hair grows in all directions

"what happens when women shave their face"

Does something different happen if a man shaves his face or something 😂

Shaving your hair doesn't make it grow thicker, it's just that the angle of the shave makes it appear thicker, kinda like a point turning into a square so it shouldn't be a stigma for women

My best friend started shaving last year and said it was the worst decision she’s ever made. She’s a slave to it now.

Naaaah. Please don’t shave your face. I tried it in high school and yes it feels nice the first day or two but then stubble appears. I remember I was kissing someone and he kept rubbing on my face as if he was trying to feel out the stubble, not cute.

I did this once just to exfoliate and ended up with ingrown hair pimples in the places where I have peach fuzz. I'll never do it again.

My stupidly sensitive skin and hair that always grows back longer and darker wherever I shave does not agree lol. I won't even try my face, it's not worth the risk of dermatitis and acne flare-ups.

For much as they say it won’t grow thicker or darker, I’ve experienced that already on my other body parts, so I’ll have a hard pass on shaving my face 🥴🥴🥴😏

I just love your videos! You really do inform us of things we wonder 👏🏼👏🏼 I've always been told not to shave because your hair grows back thicker and darker so, thank you!

Acne, hair growing in more noticeably because it’s changes growth directions, I have heard of sooner peoples getting darker. Peach fuzz adds a blur effect haha that’s what Marilyn Monroe said when she added her powder on.

I don't know why this is ..but for some reason with my PCOS, it seems to grow back on my face in bigger patches where it was more of a peach fuzz before. I am not saying it grows quicker or thicker or whatever just that this is my own experience. So I don't shave my face very often... with my excessive hair growth, plucking seems best for me

What's wrong with baby hair I never shaved the whole entire life and I'm fine with it

I would never shave my face, except my 'stache;) lol. The rest? No way. We are supposed to have fine hairs on our face, we are not mannequins. Like women really need yet ANOTHER step in our routines.
