It’s SO out of control. I’m so glad you are talking about this. I’m getting strikes on videos with music I got from a stock music site I was a PAID member of years ago. Now labels are trying to steal the AdRev from MY videos and YT seems so supportive of this practice. I’m considering yanking them all down and re-uploading with new music. I even thought about making a video complaining about it and how YT is handling it too.. Sites like Epidemic are definitely the way to go.

Just an FYI, even epidemic sound songs can get copy striked if the band later signs to a label. They have a great selection of music but I wouldn’t use them just to avoid copyright strikes.

I’m glad you’ve found a solution to your music copyright problems. YT isn’t playing fair. They tend to be biased towards certain types of content such as the LGBTQ movement. And innocuous ones like makeover videos, etc. Just check out the trending videos cuz YT hand picks them for us to see, as a suggestion lol. You’re fighting the system which is great. Your channel is travel based and in my opinion, innocuous. They’re just picking on you for no reason. Every content creator on YT should have the right to provide whatever content he/she wants as long as it’s not obscene. It’s called free speech. Sorry you had to go through all that copyright drama. So what I wonder about people who spend thousands upon thousands of dollars (tens of thousands?!) traveling around the world -- during all that time, what are they giving back to humanity? It seems like it's, what, about 99 to 100 selfishness, yeah? All that money for self. So the real QUESTION is -- why is that better than using that money to better, or to even SAVE, the lives of others i.e. PHILANTHROPY? (You do NOT need to be a multi millionaire to be a philanthropist.)

This doesn’t provide much of a solution to other YouTube channels who are pummeled by copyright abuse. Your situation is music copyright claims, but others can be of using a clip of a movie trailer or something on TV. The whole video only talks about how you can use his sponsor for music copyright claims. This isn’t a solution to the copyright abuse fiasco.

I got a copyright claim from epidemic after I cancelled my subscription, so it seems you can avoid claims until you cancel your subscription. So that is basically renting to prevent a claim. What are your thoughts.

I use Audio Blocks and also the free YouTube music library that's available to creators. I may have to check out this service though, as it seems like a great thing and having more variety is a great thing.
