YouTube’s copyright law gets even stricter and stricter

The funny thing about that is that the main plot of happy tree friends is gore, which is against youtubes policy.

This Reminds me of how my Best Friends Account got suspended, he got copyright striked twice because of someone else playing music, that was out of his power because one he was streaming and two: The friend didn’t stop even though we told him to. The only thing that I thought that would save him is if he muted him, BUT he probably couldn’t because he was in a battle or something

Oops, wrote an essay again lol.

Honestly the policing on copyright have been getting a lot harsher.

it's like companies are in a competition or something. especially in the deltarune community since a different company owns the music toby fox makes so pretty much every remix gets striked.

But more than that, this system in place is for a much younger, inferior company than what youtube has grown into.

Obviously youtube doesn't care even the biggies here in the tubing business don't dare fight against this most of the time.

Now I could go on a big doomer rant about how youtube is just propping up big companies and shafting smaller creators but I actually have a different rant to go on.

This notion, that youtube is too big to monitor, and changing the algorithm and terms of service is impossible, is possibly the most ridiculous lie youtubers have been gaslit into believing.

As someone trying to get into programming, a common thing they say is "there's always a solution to the problem. The code is never wrong, you are."

Software to help with monitoring content and making sure false strikes like this are tossed out are, while complex, possible.

This notion that youtube, a company with so much money it nearly rivals its parent company, can't do anything about a problem is not only false, but laughably stupid.

Youtube can fix these issues. They either don't want to, or don't care to.

More likely don't care to. Think back on how many times titans like markiplier, jacksepticeye, penguinz0, coryxkenshin, and even pewdiepie complained and recieved a middle finger in response.

The sad reality is, youtube doesn't need them. Not anymore. Banks in the 1920's constantly assured the public they where to big to fail. They wouldn't crash because they couldn't. Then the great depression happened.

But that twilight isn't going to happen for youtube. Even if they keep pushing anti-creator policies, even if they make the ui more and more buggy and dysfunctional, what is the general public going to do?

Go to daily motion? Metcalfe? Vimeo? Good luck. Most if not all are unintuitive and have a lot less incentive to make content for.

Youtube won't fail because there is no alternative, none of substantial quality.

So we have a business that is monstrously rich, unaposed on the market, and utterly tyrannical in its reign.

Yeah, that sounds like the kind of people who could invest in the betterment of their service, but would rather tell their customers it's "impossible."

Anyway, great video d3jus. Keep the grind up. This is just a roadblock to you, keep driving. You're on your way.

Using HTF characters to explain the copyright system is like using South Park characters to teach about cyberbullying.
