Capitalism isn't the best system for wealth distribution... It's the best for capital allocation and technological progression. That's why we have social programs and regulation. Over regulations bad, but without minimum wage, pure capitalism would ensure a lot of people making under a third of what it costs to survive in a rundown studio apartment. Mixed economy is the best system. If you argue either side is perfect it's unrealistic.

But capitalism being a effective wealth distribution system is a ludicrous idea. its certainly not a effective system for major resources like healthcare and infrastructure is a bad idea. I point to the texas power grid, it's efficient but if the weather is to hot or to cold. Then it buckles under its own efficiency and struggles to keep up. Basically it runs on a knife's edge
