The thing is once you are higher up on that rung, you dont get fired for incompetency.

Promoting equity has younger people cheering their own replacement with foreign workers and illegals. And they are trained to agree with that from the time they start watching corporate cartoons. A short term master stroke by the corporations.

Bob Iger, CEO of Disney was perfectly aware of that. His original intention was the run for public office so he used Disney as a means to that end. When that fell flat, he is now trying to reverse course to save his legacy.

Just remember…some form of what you call “equity agitation” has always been part of American capitalism and institutions…trying to bend the needle when there was NO level playing field. There was NEVER a true “level playing field”. In the 1920’s no Catholic, Black or Jew could become a banker…let alone do business at JP Morgan…and it had nothing to do with talent or ability. Why do you think there are so many hospitals named after saints…often associated with medical schools that would not admit Catholic or Jewish students.
