Here in Hungary, for this reason, the driver's license is revoked as if it had never been there and a serious penalty must be paid. If he caused an accident, he will be sentenced to 2 years in prison because it is considered a crime.

I was a trucker for 6 years now, and I have seen A LOT of these situations, I just hit them and continue my journey, because if I turn into the other lane, I would likely to roll over if I oversteer my semi.

If I was a trucker especially driving at night I would treat the brake checker as a potential car jacking and deal with it accordingly.

I was taught, when entering the highway, you merge or yield. Why does EVERYONE think they have a right to get nasty when they are the ones not merging. speed up or slow down but DO NOT expect the person already on the highway to move for you. Your problem, not theirs!!

I had someone brakecheck me once, he also got out of his car and put his phone on his roof.
When he got back in and drove away the phone fell on the road and i drove over it.. His walk of shame to pick up his smashed phone was golden 😂👌

(all happened because i honked once after almost missing a greenlight because he was busy on his phone... lets call it instant karma.)

1) You believed it to be an attempted armed robbery, so you called it into emergency services, but kept going.

2) You have a dashcam which shows the driver was driving without due care and attention, so in line with option 1, your advice is to keep going.
