Thank you very much doctor, I have been diagnosed with the same issue but I am in Egypt and can't reach to you, Should I just go to a chiropractic physician?

Thank you for this. :') I'm realizing I've been subluxing my shoulders at least once a day since I was a kid.

Thanks for sharing such a nice video..my right shoulder has dislocated 3 times in last 18 years. Last one after 7 years gap. My MRI indicates mild fracture in hill Sachs lesion... surgery is last option for me or physiotherapy can assist me in this problem.. waiting for your response... thanks in advance

Hi first of all wonderfull video and i wanted to ask question about my problem 3 years ago i had muscle up shoulder injury and after that that injury it was painfull to do anything particulary but i manage to streenghth my rotator cuff after that i was good to train in the gym but when i come to gym my injured side was feeling different than the other like bench pressing my injured shoulder was swinging it wasnt painfull but it wasnt stable it was going forward kinda taking over from chest to shoulder and traps what do you think about that it may be subluxation ? what do you suggest ? Thank you very much for reading

Very helpful, the only thing that would have been useful is if you had run the test at 3:07 before the compression so that you could see the difference before and after.

Hey, this os a really helpful video for my case. Ive read other comments and most have the same problem as mine. My shoulder popped out for a few minutes the goes back in by itself, first time was 2 years ago when i was on this back machine(lifting) and has been recurrent. How is this fixable and does it have a tome period for getting it fixed? Xray showed no problems.

i had 5-6 subluxation (anterior) in one year, 3 of them while smashing in badminton..that's where it begin. and other in lifting heavy objects overhead. i have no pain or no problem in range of motion or moving in any direction or doing pushups or any exercise with the machine. but last time subluxation happened while i was trying to strengthen shoulder muscles with pulley mahine(zero weight) . my pt told to take 21days therapy with jel and plates. and exercise under his supervision. and told it's a permanent fix???

very very good info ive been dealing with shoulder issues for years and im starting to realise its what you've talked about in this video aswell as atleast it feels like it heavily a loose clavicle (not sure if related or unrelated i'd assume loose humerus could push the clavicle loose?) primarily where it connects to the glenohumeral primarily on the left shoulder painful doing pullups and bench press lots of instability how would i go about getting explaining to a physio or chiropractor (assuming a chiro might be more practical for this problem) what im experiencing so they can get best idea of how to aid it thank you

If a shoulder subluxation occurred doesn’t it mean there is instability of the surrounding shoulder tissues? If that’s the case how would a manip, like the one in your video, improve it? Shouldn’t exercises be the #1 treatment?

Quick question, on both my arms when I put them up, a ball pops out. It feels like a bone. It happens on both my arms. I do have ehlers Danlos but I often have a hard time with my shoulders. Recently, I was getting a cup from my cabinet and my arm jurked really hard. Felt like something pulled. This happens often but I have not healed from it. It has been about six months. I just figured it was my hypermobility but starting to think it is something else. I can't raise my right arm too high. Hurts to even have my hand on the steering wheel. Any suggestions? I also want to know what that ball thing is stick out on both my arms when I lift them up. I have never seen any of my freinds with it.

I feel the exact same way and it does look shifted forward however I separated my Ac joint 6 weeks ago grade 2. Do you think that can be a byproduct ?

A question I hope you help me with, during working out my shoulder popped out then popped back in instantly on its own, but then I had pain for a few days, did a MRI turns out the glenoid labrum is a bit attenuated with a possibility of tear but the results were inconclusive, how can I move forward with this in terms of treatment, rehab and a way to get back to the gym ?

Hey, great video! I am a personal trainer, not a physio or chiropractor and one of my clients has suffered many shoulder subluxations. He has hyper mobility but the shoulder that is weak does exactly what you done in the test with the pressure added to shoulder flexion.

He has been to physios and chiropractors before but have told him he now needs to strengthen the surrounding muscle (which is what we are trying to do now).

He often feels like it may sublux throughout most upper body movements so we need to stop way short of failure.

Would it be best just to continue doing exercises to strengthen the are or to get him back to physio?

Thank you.

I was just doing incline bench press and missed the hooks on the way back up . My shoulder popped out of the joint backwards when the weight came down on it and then seemed to pop straight back in when I jumped up . Now it's clicking and feels like it could pop back out at any moment butbit isn't particularly painfully, more like slightly numb and sensitive. Hopefully it's not to serious but I definitely felt it come out of the joint 😬
