Ribeye Steak with BBQ Pan Sauce and Grilled Peaches

Показать описание
Peaches, in all their mouth-watering glory, are the ideal complement to a choice cut of beef. Like a juicy cut of watermelon and a hot summer day, two great things in life simply go great together.
Ingredients:
2 ribeye steaks (1 1/2 inch thick)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons neutral oil (Grapeseed or Canola)
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Shallot, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 ripe peaches, pitted and halved, and cut into wedges.
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your pan to medium heat.
2. Season the steaks generously with salt on both sides.
3. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot.
4. Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
5. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
6. In the same skillet, add the shallots and garlic and cook for 30 seconds. 7. Then add the beef broth and barbecue sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
8. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and reduced by about half.
9. Turn off the heat and stir in the butter until melted and smooth.
10. While the sauce is cooling, cook the peach halves for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until charred and tender in a nonstick pan.
11. To serve, spoon the barbecue pan sauce over the pan-seared steaks and top with the charred peaches. Garnish with chopped parsley and ground black pepper, if desired.
12. Enjoy your delicious pan-seared steak in a barbecue pan sauce with grilled peaches!
