I now realize that I was being shown pictures of Shibuya Crossing when being told "Japan is 10 years in the future" in elementary school. That was from about 1989 to 1993, and we were also told "Work harder and catch up." That was one reason I wanted to travel there, but I give more credit to the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. In Japan it is known as the "Z32 Fairlady Twin Turbo."

Brilliant ending. I read about death by overwork and was fascinated. I think it translated to "Karoshi." I wonder how often that happened at Nissan.
