Every Unit in British Special Forces Simplified

Every Unit in British Special Forces Simplified
The role of Britain's special forces has transformed over the years. Back in the day, they were taking down Axis powers, then squaring up against the Soviets, and now they’re deep in the thick of. At the heart of it all is the UK Special Forces (UKSF), the brain behind Britain’s elite units like the SAS, SBS, SRR, 18th Signals Regiment, and a few others we probably won’t hear about. Think of the UKSF as Britain’s answer to the U.S.’s Jsoc and Socom.
So, buckle up! Let’s dive into what makes these operators the top dogs of the British Armed Forces. Special Air Service (SAS), Special Boat Service (SBS), Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR), 18th Signal Regiment, E Squadron, Army Special Operations Brigade, Joint Special Forces Aviation Wing, Special Forces Support Group

As a friend who was involved with the SBS explained it to me in the following fashion.
Send in the SAS and there is a load of flash bang boom and the target is gone.
Send in the SBS and you hear nothing until you wake up one morning and the target is gone
Send in the SRR and you hear and see nothing until the RAF level the place and all associated places a week or so later.

I was a Royal Marine for 12 years. I trained with these men, met them when on deployment. There were a few things you got mixed up, but the quality of the video was outstanding, the footage. I think i might of been in one of those videos. Good entertainment.

They are not the UKs answer to any US unit. It's the other way around

The SRS has a nickname; "His Majesty's Burglars"! They can be as lethal as any of the other units, if they *have* to be, but their goal is to get in, get the intel, and get out; not just without being caught, or even seen - but without the opposition even knowing that they've been infiltrated.
