My budgie lost his cage mate a few months ago, they’d never been separated so I’d never heard the “call” chirp before but that’s all he did for the week after his buddy passed and it was heartbreaking hearing him call for him. He’s doing much better now, just as loud only this time with happy chirps and squawks. Amazing how one budgie alone can still sound like a pet store

My blue budgie just sits and squawks for no reason. He has everything he needs, has my grey budgie as a companion and is usually fluffed up. He does this EVERY morning at the same time. Drives me nuts.

My Budgies call me when they want their food re-upped, and clean water. So funny, they both will hang on the front of the cage and call and call. Gosh I love ❤️ them so much !
