This video shows you how to teach your dog to not bark at the door when someone rings the doorbell or knocks on the door. Using a combination of positive reinforcement and treats, you can break your dog's habit of barking when someone comes to your door. Most dog's bark when someone's at the door from anxiety or excitement, but both are things that you can overcome with training.

Brilliant, 3 seconds in and now my dog is going mad barking at a doorbell that isn't even his! 🤣

Thank you for this video! My puppy never barked at the door until he turned about ten months old. Now he barks excessively every time and based on his behaviour I think he is anxious rather than excited. He does not show anxiety at any other time, so I think it is a covid thing as not many people have been to the house. I can’t wait to follow this with him.

How do I get my Great Dane to give me personal space when I’m eating

We need HELP. We have four dogs, we brought two siblings into our house a year ago. One of them has a “reactive personality.” Meaning that, he will react in a bad way to anything going on around him that causes disruption with our dogs.

If anyone has any suggestions on how we can stop this. We would be grateful.

We can’t even have guests come to our home without them being put in the crate. I thought about the shock collar with the remote control to try to stop them, especially our reactive dog, Jack… But, I don’t want to do anything to them that might make things worse.

I appreciate anyone’s help here that might be able to help me. We absolutely don’t want to lose any of these dogs because of their going crazy when the doorbell rings or someone knocks at the door. We’re trying to calm him down. We’ve tried treats, it’s literally a scrum at the door of all of them barking going crazy. I can’t get to any of their attention. .

Any suggestions my dog loving friends?

These are terrific pups. They love us so much… But they are so different when someone else comes to our house.

Thanks for reading and if anyone has any suggestions, thank you for your help. We have considered “doggy Boot Camp” right now, my brother is dying from cancer and is on hospice care. He also has dementia. I’m trying to take care of him and the dogs and now my injured wife as well.

Thanks for reading this very long post. I’m sorry for being so long.

How do you know your dog is aware that she's being rewarded for not reacting to noises like the door opening or someone walking around in apartment? Sometimes I feel like she doesn't know why

Love finding this video, what I'm really seeking is a video on getting my Great Dane and my bordercollie and my Chihuahua to not bark if I'm not present. Say like I go to the women's room, outside any door, go out to the corner . Maybe go for two hours .
Barking a little when I come home a bit isok but my focus to teach my dogs robot bark while I'm not present.

I really enjoy all your tips, thank you for making the videos. We have 1 1/2 Great dane/English mastiff. She is a great dog and we have gone through all her training. We still struggle with her barking and acting nutty when she sees another dog.... we did let her go through her first heat, which included phantom pregnancy, just this week we had her spayed and stomach tacked to prevent bloat. Hopefully the spay will help with craziness towards other dogs. If you have suggestions would love to hear, thank you!

So you're giving her treats when she barks at the door ? Seems counter-intuitive

I don’t mind barking at the door. Had several occasions our Danes barking at the door served as a deterrent to a person or persons with questionable motives at the door while my wife was home alone.
