How Do I Complete the AQA A Level Computer Science NEA?

A video all about the programming project that students studying AQA's A level Computer Science qualification will have to complete. It's worth 20% of the overall A Level but is often the trickiest part to get your head around - partly because, since it's coursework, so much of it needs to come from your own independent work.

I am in yr 12 an just got assigned ocr nea cs I’ve seen some high grade examples and it seems incredibly advanced one student wrote program that implemented facial recognition using a camera and the tracking of your hand at that point if I knew how to do something of that level I don’t think I would bother being in school I’d probably have enough skill to get a job

I have started the nea and I have chosen to create a website which would provide information to students entered by school stuff. It is mainly information about events and trips that will be present. I am really afraid of it being too simple, as you mentioned in the video, having not enough processing. Filtering, sorting and automated clearing is everything I have so far as an idea. WHat would you sugges to integrate or upgrade to add completion? It is a bit too late to start from the scratch. Thank you for your answer in front

I've already started my project and have been for some time, however after watching this video I don't think it is any good. I am creating a booking system which allows the user to manage their campsite and allows him to book and search from a calendar. I feel like I have fallen behind with my coursework and my word document isn't as full as I would like. I have kind of gotten bored of the project and I am not sure what to do, its too late to restart but I don't know what else to do.

I'm doing this now and creating a rubiks cube solver. Currently it solves the cube in a way which isn't the best. Follows the beginner method but takes 2000 lines in a class to actually solve it which I'm worried means that I haven't solved in a good enough way for it to get good marks. Obviously there is other classes that use complex techniques and I have implemented a 3d model of the cube which u can rotate around and uses complex maths to create the rotated cube which I think is very good however I'm just worried about the actual solving using lots of while loops and taking up to 150 moves sometimes to solve. However it does not solve it randomly. I guess I just want to know if you think I need to do something more other than lots of if statements and while loops which create a moveset based on the current state on the cube but there isn't really any maths involved in solving it
