Hello and welcome! My name is Anton and in this video, we will talk about a strange galaxy discovered far, far away that may explain how galaxies grow so fast so early on

Thanks again Anton. Love these investigations into early galaxies and their development.

Ah, rational explanation without idiotic sensationalism, so rare on youtube these days. Thank you, Anton.

JWST is blowing Hubble out of the water. I’m loving the new more detailed pictures of our universe. Thank you Anton, you wonderful person!

Thank you for another amazing video.
I look forward to your presentations everyday.
Whenever there is news or recent I don't watch other channels that sensationalize them .
I wait for your concise and well researched presentation.
Who's awesome?
You are Anton 🎉

Thanks Anton!
You should get some kind of award for all of your videos. You are a great educator of space, science and technology!!

Okay, as a pleb this is one of the most amazing videos about recent space discoveries I've seen. I can imagine Carl Sagan doing cart wheels if he were still living. Thank You Anton you are a true ambassador of Astronomy to the public.

Loving the JWST. Its forcing all the old guesswork to be replaced with shiny new guesswork!! :)

I remember first hearing about the cosmic microwave background in the 80’s and thinking how much it looks like a web - it’s fascinating to learn so much more about it through the years

As a Pastafarian, the prospect of the universe being formed by noodily appendages is great news.

The cosmic web is easily the most interesting thing I've ever seen in science

Thanks as always. Our view keeps getting clearer and more detailed. The Jellyfish Galaxy. Outstanding.

Just amazing that we can do all this, strive for knowledge, struggle to understand and then tease another detail to begin anew.

Just wanted to say there are so many youtube channels that focus on physics but are clickbait sensationalist bullshit. Your channel is a refreshing alternative to that, so thank for that!

Would this help explain the chemical composition issue? As I understand it, JWST has found the chemical composition of early galaxies to be similar to current ones, while it was expected they would be poorer in heavier elements which can only be produced in supernovae. And there is mention in your video of the tendrils being possibly rich in carbon, which wouldn’t fit with being very early structures?

This seems to be a theme whenever we point telescopes toward the farthest edges of the universe - "why are these early galaxies so large and well formed?" I'm glad that astronomers and astrophysicists are beginning to find answers to these questions.

It just hit me looking at the cosmic web that due to the faster expansion rate of the void vs the more dense web it could actually be faster to travel through the web go to the other side can through the void. Also the diameter of the void could be larger than the circumvent.

I find it odd that most comments I see just say you are amazing and don't talk about the content of the videos. It's odd compared to other channels I watch.

James Webb is finding new questions and providing explanations for them at an astounding pace.
