An excellent question...to ask the president of China, not the ceo of tik tok...

As a response to " “how can our own FBI director be wrong?"
Mr Chew should ask "Is it true Iraq has WMD in 2003 as ascertained by the entire US Intelligence Community ? "

I didn’t know TikTok was responsible for China policies. I guess Facebook does in the US since they own congress so it is starting to make sense why they are asking these questions.

"In 1988, Lesko was charged with a misdemeanor in Conroe, Texas, for tampering with government records. The case was dropped in 1994. Also in 1988, Lesko's then-husband Jeffrey Allen Ignas was sentenced to 10 years in prison for fraud. He was released from prison in 1992."

Chew should have answered, "Ma'am, between me and you, only one of us has been charged with tampering with data and that isn't me." 🤣

I cant help but wonder if Debbie Lesko asked irrelevant questions when she was in school. Her teachers/profs must have been frustrated. What's one's political opinion has to do with the above?

Many governments make claims so accusations = facts? Yeah, that does not work. Also, “how can our own FBI director be wrong”? Is this even a real question?😂😂

She started off with a very odd question that had nothing to do with the app, then talks about tiktok not being allowed on government phones.... why would you have tiktok or snapchat etc. on a government phone?

I don’t like TikTok or the CCP, but he’s not wrong, that line of questioning doesn’t have anything to do with TikTok or why he’s testifying.

China doesn’t allow International apps in their market, so why does the international community have to allow Chinese apps on our markets

You know, it's AMAZING how much 'concern' the United States has for minority groups when they happen to be in a country that America perceives as an enemy. I remember the late 90s through September 10 2001 how American politicians were never done talking about Russian 'atrocities' against Muslims in Chechnya(it got muted after 9-11). The same way we were SO 'concerned' about Saddam's treatment of Iraqi Kurds while saying nothing about Turkish treatment of Kurds just a few kilometers away from Iraq. Now America is 'concerned' about China's treatment of Muslim Uyghurs(never mentioning that thousands of these same Uyghurs have fought for Al Qaeda and ISIS), Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Falon Gong cult.

At this point, there should be an intelligence test for anyone wanting to be part of any position of power. This is just downright ridiculous and embarrassing of the second hand 🤦‍♀️

This is a stupid question. The hearing is about TikTok, not the CEO’s opinions on other topics that other nations (not his nation) does or does not do.

Congress made their opinions before they even started. This was not a hearing to hear facts, it was a grandstanding moment for idiots.

Ask him why Tik Tok is not allowed for children in his own home country of China?
They know what they are doing.
