If it had an ingredient to which I am allergic AND had made that allergy known to my server (repeatedly), then I would send it back.

I would, but I would not be a jerk about it. If I had a restaurant, I would want to know, because I would want to stay in business. My customers are nuggets of gold and deserve my best..gee they honor me by choosing my restaurant!😊

To me I want it to be what I am paying for. I absolutely WILL send food back if it is not prepared the way I requested. I am happy to pay for what I get, but I should get what I pay for.

First I’d ask for the manager and let them take it back…plus a discount on the order for the kitchen’s mistake…

Anybody remember the movie "Waiting" w Ryan Reynolds from late 90' early 2000's absolutely hilarious 😂

Me either! I can appreciate the work that went into it. Even if I don’t like it. The potential for catching a chef on a bad day is too horrific to contemplate!

As long as it's edible I wouldn't send it back either haha

I'd never say no to her... she could do what ever she wants to me and my food.

Yeah, no. If they effed up enough, I will send it back. I ordered something I normally got at Denny's and it was missing a key ingredient. Thankfully my sister in law was the head manager and I was with her and my nieces eating and she realized it wasn't made right after I mentioned that the taste seemed a bit off. She made it into a teaching moment for the cook . They remade the thing that was messed up.

Also once I got a beefy 5 layer burrito at Taco Bell that was missing all the meat 😂. It was just refried beans and maybe rice. I ate at most ⅓ of it and then realized that there wasn't any meat. They made me a new one as there was obviously no meat 😂

I love love your look.
I was served a rock-hard dry salmon. It was my first time in a fancy, pricey restaurant .
I was shocked and scared to send back, but everyone told me I had to.
I sent it back and got a perfectly delicious flaky salmon. Hopefully, they did not sabotage lol

Done properly it’s the only way to let the kitchen know they need to be more careful
Cold soup that should be hot yucky lettuce in your salad etc
Many places tell you to use it anyway not the best idea😮

Agreed. Just walk out without paying and go eat somewhere else. Otherwise you may get a big surprise!

I would never send food back for the simple reason that I watched that movie where they did some weird nasty stuff to your food.
I'm always super nice to the server too.

next question, if you're not going to send it back... will you eat it?

Let’s face it with your kind of cash no one is going to mess up your food. With my itty bitty wallet someone is bound to f up somewhere and I’m sending it back.
