I'm a thirteen year old and after watching your videos you inspired me to start gardening and it's one of the best things I've ever done and I now have 4 raised beds with loads of crops

the fact you feature and elevate other diverse gardeners & garden types is what truly sets this account apart from the rest <3

Shannie! You were my favorite part of baker creek and got me hooked on them. I really missed your fun videos and even searched for you when you left. Good to see you active again!

I really like all of your voices. You guys all have very calm, gentle voices that is pleasant to listen to. I know that sounds crazy, but I find that I am enjoying, listening to your content and each one of you have very nice voices- lol am I the only one?

Thank you for having two gardeners in the South East region. It's definitely a 'different animal ' style of gardening

Don’t know why I’m seeing Meg hate in the comments. Meg is an incredible presenter and she is so knowledgeable. I’m sure all of these presenters are probably so nervous speaking for such a huge audience as epic. Give them some slack. Go and watch their own channels and you’ll see more of their personalities and fall in love even more. Meg is great. Her content is great. Keep her on. The new ladies did great as well! Been watching epic for years and loving the new format.

The butterfly pea blossom gives Empress 1908 gin its distinct deep indigo hue that changes to bright lavender, soft pink, or fuchsia depending on the mixer.

Getting started turning my lawn into a vegetable garden. A bit late but better than never! Gardening is so rewarding.

Regarding the marigolds, for what it's worth I just watched a video the other day from a Canadian gardener/soil scientist who said the effect is only good where...I forget the technical term, but basically unless you have that marigold crowding in against the tomatoes, it's not providing much of an effect. She said that growing the marigolds as ground cover, then coming in later and planting those tomatoes where the marigolds used to be, is the best way to do it (because of course you're planting into soil that had those chemicals all throughout it).

I'm probably totally butchering what she said, and of course if you're actually having success planting marigolds the way you already do, then keep going with it! I just figured I'd bring this up just in case!

Love seeing Bethany! I do have a yard, but it's very small. A lot of my flowers and vegetables go into containers. Her experience with small spaces and containers has been invaluable.

Hey Kevin! Im a middle schooler and I just started watching your videos about a month or so ago, and I’ve gotten really interested in gardening, you really inspired me! So, I bought some cheap little containers and some seeds and started growing! My seeds have come far, the only problem is I dont have the funds to get a raised bed or even more, or bigger containers 😕. But, I just wanted to thank you for all this great content and inspiring me.

Thinking about starting a YouTube channel for my progress.

Red burgundy okra is one of the most beautiful summer crops. Interesting note, the pods begin a dark burgundy red and fade to green when they become too tough. It’s a nice visual indicator of the prime time to harvest.

Thank you for adding info fir those of us in Florida. We are so often ignored but almost all gardening sites. Zone 10 in Florida is so different than 10 in another part of the country.
