This is for indoor bugs. For outdoor insects and pests, add 1tsp. neem oil (or whatever vegetable based oil you have). You can also add cayenne pepper powder and/or rinds and baking soda.

Best if you use an eco friendly dish soap!

I believe ones that aren't pronounced eco friendly will do more damage than good.

Other than that, I'll probably resort to this on my apple trees.

I followed this recipe exactly and sprayed it on my plants last night after a recent worm attack. This morning I found half the leaves on my plants were blackened. What did I do wrong?? I sprayed after the sun went down, but maybe did I use too much? Why is it killing the plants I'm fighting so hard to keep healthy? Someone please explain how I can save my herbs because I normally trust this guy with my plants' lives and there's got to be something I'm missing!
