Remember: you can negotiate pretty much ~anything~ 😀

this is why it's ridiculous to health insurance attached to employment

I feel like the majority of companies don't do this. What is the percentage of people realistically getting successful negotiations?

Communication doesn't always happen, sometimes the corporation is the immature teenager.

Yes everything is negotiable!! And if you have a good union, it sets floors, not ceilings. You can always ask for more.

I started a new job in March 2020, the same week we went into lockdown (that timing tho lol) and about 1.5mo later they laid off 25% of their work force (including me) I remember asking my friend if I should try to negotiate the 3 week severance and he was just like "bruh that's literally half the time you worked there, just take it" 🤣

I wish I knew 50 years ago that this stuff was negotiable😅

Omg I had no idea this was a thing! I literally just accepted a new job offer and didn’t even think about that 😔

A steeper severance also makes you less likely to get fired, right?

Severance? I've never worked anywhere that offers that. Man I'm not qualified for a real job, am I??!??!!!

In today's world, your lucky to get any kind of severence plan instead of a cardboard box on your desk on Friday morning

I think in my country, if you ask something like that, they will think you consider yourself as someone who is going to be fired any time (or maybe, I didn't understand the video). Anyway, You can negotiate a lot of things but if there is no written/digital document about it, it doesn't exists
