This officer is not shouting at the soldiers, he's giving formal drill instructions.
The soldiers will all recognize the commands.

The officer actually looked like an officer

The Officer is not shouting, he is issuing "words of command" which all trained soldiers understand and respond to instinctively.

His moustache has the ability to make it sound like he’s shouting when in fact he’s actually whispering to them… never underestimate the power of the moustache

For a long time, before radios were invented, troop formations were controlled by verbal commands. Battlefields are noisy and chaotic, and soldiers can be spread out over large areas. Being able to bellow very, very loud but still coherent commands at people is a traditional skill that is still appreciated in the British military.

He wasn't yelling. He was giving coherent commands to his soldiers. People need to understand that.

It makes me so proud to be English when watching these. The troopers, NCO and Officer are All so so smart. No one does this as well as the British Armed Forces. Thank you

FACT CHECK: The title of this video is pure click bait; the inspecting officer was using COMMAND VOICE (the term we use in the US military) to issue drill commands. He was not shouting at the guardmount. As an NCO he would have immediately earned my respect.

Now that officer has the best voice ever.... Its like sme ww1 dude came back to life and told him how to project his voice perfectly. Epic. Best tone and accent ever.

They were clear words of command. That is an excellent officer.

He really has to trust the horses with his life to walk behind them like that.I have seen people knocked directly into the hospital for walking the exact same path.

It's definitely weird to hear the term "the kings guards" after me hearing "the queens guards" for my 37 years of life

There is a difference between shouting and giving commands that are loud and clear, It is the same on the parade square or on operations

Very professional performance. The officer gives clear instructions in a voice that can be heard clearly at some distance, above the noise of battle, and when he inspected the guards, he clearly was actually inspecting for real and could be seen giving feedback to the guard commander, and to individual guards, in a quiet voice that is barely picked up by the microphone. Seems like a good man and a solid officer.
