wow, this is actually cool, all my life I thought the Royal Guard was supposed to be traditional to when they were formed (which I assume was around nearly 300 years ago). Most of their Regiments are also extremely old so I didn't think they actually took women into their ranks due to it not being a thing when these Regiments were in their Youth
