I’ve actually done that before and an old timer told me to add either mineral oil or castor oil. We had a castor oil and it came out pretty darn good just a suggestion.

Last I heard, Anice was illegal to fish with in Arkansas. Interesting thing the black gum drops that taste like licorice will absolutely catch fish. If you can find them you should give it a try.
