I watched and older gentleman real one in after another but what first caught my eye was the blue rubber gloves he would put on when he caught them. Now keep in mind this was a few years ago when people were still nutty about Covid, masks, and 6ft distancing so I thought he was one of those people who you see in the car by themselves wearing a mask. When he was leaving with his bag limit he handed me a bag of the Magic Bait and a few gloves and said "when they stock the FIN's lakes the best bait is this stuff from WalMart, and here are a few gloves to handle the bait, this stuff STINKS!" Man! He wasn't lying! He was super cool and not a germaphobe after all LOL!! I used these at the local stocked FINs lakes now and people are always coming up and asking what we are using after we out fish them 10:1

Liver and cheese one work the best. They also work better at stocked places than lakes and rivers but still will produce

Dip bait right with peanut butter on it works pretty good. I remember fishing the stocked park lake down the street from where I grew up. I had my shrimp and was knocking the channel cats off back to back. Two three pounds a piece. Guy pulls up with his dip bait rig and peanut butter and starts yanking them 5lbs or better.

Man, there's gotta be some monster catfish out there. I would definitely try using small bluegill or some kinda cut bait out there.

Tried this for the first time at my lake which is notorious for the hard fishing and have caught 15+ cats using it 5 of which were around the 10 pound mark all within the week total fishing time was maybe 13 hours

Always had great success with the Chicken Blood flavor- as you figured out for yourself, it works great on eating-size Channels.
