I read the patch notes this morning, I am really excited for this, it makes fishing now a necessity at least the breeds of fish that are needed for potions. They just totally improved the game on a lot of levels, well done to them.

I kind of assumed it was just a dumb new mob in a flimsy hut and it was just a random new thing to find in a swamp sometimes, I didn't expect it to be this huge.

I could be wrong, but I believe the love potion making you aggro trolls could be a reference to a Swedish folk song called Herr Mannelig, which is about a troll woman proposing marriage to a man, who refuses her

Hyped for the new update I've always loved the cooking system in this game nice to see it get expanded

love that this whole new update is basically turning mods into built in game features, great for players who don't want to mod but experience nice things that modders get to use.

remind me of the farmers delight mod for minecraft that lets you place large meals down for multiple players to eat, i love it when they add food to valhiem, farming is my fave thing lol

Splitting food (and not quite food) crafting into three build pieces is a good idea, though I was thinking about introducing tabs on the cooking cauldron (to split into meads, food, and baits). There were way too many recipes there, and no way to filter or arrange them.

I wouldn't say that it's the most impactful "Update" since, although Feasts and skills are arguably cool, nothing beats the feather cape and MAGIC in my opinion 😁

With all of the new items for sale, farming trolls are gonna be one of the only early/mid game ways of amassing more gold, so that may be the purpose of love potions.

Its good they added scythe to harvest faster but what about planting faster because doing it 1 at time in mid/late game is pain in the a..

They need to add some NPCs that you can find throughout the world at different stages, exactly like Terraria. Imagine going through a dungoes and finding a lost wizard that can help you with bosses that can cook you potions and collect materials.
