Who else has PTSD from those deer noises?

The lower vegetation setting tip cannot be overstated. Later on when you have easy access to better food it's not a big deal, but early on getting those different types of food to stack is a huge buff, so finding them ASAP is a big deal!

I remember you telling about lowing the vegetation, no mushrooms could ever hide from me again! Great video, cute and quick one!

Valheim's DoF works pretty well in first person view, it's very strange to me that the game doesn't come with the ability to enter first person perspective by default. I highly recommend the "FirstPersonMode" mod by Azumatt, it integrates pretty seamlessly and just lets you zoom into your head. Zooming out gives you 3rd person again. It really just feels like it should be part of the game, really helps to make DoF work and gives a better sense of scale in my opinion. It's the only mod I can no longer live without while playing!

I turned off the camera shake within an hour of playing lol it’s gives me a headache. Depth of field is one I didn’t know was possible, I don’t have the best vision and now I can change that, do you know, does turning off DoF use more RAM?

I like the challenge of finding stuff in dense grass so its always up. I once had to look for my thrown spear for 2 minutes :D
I have the same problem with the DoF you have, but it looks so nice so i haven't turned it off yet, but I play this game only for 2 weeks so maybe that'll change.
I always turn off camera shake in games, I don't like that effect when fighting.
