also do not use high MRV 1 inch filters unless you like cracked heat exchangers and freezing coils. They block too much airflow.

Arent you supposed to use one filter so it seals around the edges??? If you do this with two then shouldn't you put some duct tape down the middle to seal the gap?

So I just open it, plop the new filter in and close it up? Arrow up? Why isn't the old filter covered in dust?

Look into one 2 inch filter instead of two 1 inch filters. I believe it would be less restrictive on the system and allow more airflow
