I bought one last year towed a 19 ft caravan with it. Tows great the only thing I would do if you’re towing a lot is put air bags in the back.
Great video it’s a shame that most car reviewers put it at the end of the list as a 4x4 and tow vehicle.
I have been towing for 25 years this car is great.

Great video thank you! I took delivery of my Rexton Ultimate Sport last weekend and absolutely love it. The steering weights up a little weirdly in corners but apart from that it’s the best value 4x4 in its class by a long way. Happy motoring!

I checked out my friends Ultimate, I was absolutely blown away. It seems to have good build quality, all the bells and whistles, comfortable, quiet in the cabin, nice touches, seems to have a smooth transmission and plenty of get up also fuel efficient. It also has a roomy boot. Would be a very nice daily driver. Only thing I didn’t check out was the sound system, 4wd capability and big question is the reliability of the engine other than that I’m sold on this car.

Good on you. I've been waiting for exactly the same car as yours, Rexton Untimate with Sport Pack included and options of sidesteps and a tow bar. I'm expected to take delivery of the vehicle on 1st March. Just a few days away...

Been researching on this new rexton model for a while now or for similar price used 2022 to 2024 Prado. I may order one haven’t seen major negative reviews and reviews from owners are the best

Good review, you forgot to mention that you can set the tailgate to open automatically once you walk up to the car with the key fob in pocket and the door window feature. If you hold the lock or unlock button down long enough all the door windows will drop (great for hot days) or go back up if you forget to close them after turning off the ignition.

How do you find night time headlight performance in dark areas ?, in terms of beam spread, overall brightness etc 😊

One tip - If you wanna buy it, Try to look on older model (2018 - 2020) with low mileage. I have 12/2019, it is practically the same car, but without software issues of new vehicles, w/o fully digital speedometer and with a bit smaller touch screen. 7speed gear box (new has 8speed), and 181 hp (new has 201). I bought it for almost half the price of new one and it only has 20 K mileage. Still had 2years warranty. Also in my opinion the previous model looks little bit better from outside, with more cute front grill which is main difference to the new one, which has larger grill. Also interiour looks little bit better in that 2019 (premium) model with brown colour than that new black. They seem to downgrade "design" in my opinion with the new display, but otherwise previous model is probably 99, 9% same car as the new one.

Warning: I picked up my Ultimate MY24 two days ago. After 50kms, engine warning light came on and Apple CarPlay will not work if you have an iPhone 15 (works when I plug in my old iPhone 8). Called the dealer, told them the problems: nothing. Still waiting for a response. Called Ssangyong Australia: they said call the dealer.

How's the screen? Seems, like the last version, every single car sold has a dodgy infotainment system yet again. I guess you've already realised the 'quirks' of Ssangyong "wait for a bit to plug your phone in".... Yep
