I have a 2023 Ultimate and love it. The tech is fantastic and the fuel economy is outstanding. 2 trips from Melbourne to Sydney and Sydney to Port Macquarie. This presenter needs to read the book of rules before making comments about what you can and can't do with the drivers display. Most comfortable vehicle I have driven for many years.

One of the best value for money utes on the market in Australia, and a much better option than any of the Chinese offerings!

I have a 2023 model with the same km reading almost. The instrument cluster showing the range will also show the average lit /100 etc if you press one of the toggles on your right on the steering wheel. On a recent trip to Bellarine from SE Melbourne I got 6.79 lit/100 and urban driving I get roughly 8.8lit/100.
My last Ute was a MQ Triton and I feel the Musso is a better Ute than that.
All in all we are happy with our purchase @ $44k drive away.

Better owner reviews than all other utes on product review, that speaks for itself.
Mine has been a dream, so much more refined than the other offerings and the auto locking diff helps a lot. The rear end flex with the coils is also awesome.
Drop your brand snobbery and test one out.

We are the Korean off-road channel. We're also riding a Musso Grand car. Thank you for showing the great Musso Grand video.🫡👍

great honest review on the musso which is about time. especially the mention regarding road vibration, steering and pulling to the left. There are a alot of owners that experience the vibration and Ssangyong don't want to know about it. i own a MY21 and is the worst ute i have owned. but thank you for your honest review.

Great review mate. I just bought the short wheelbase today, dealers are willing to negotiate on sticker prices too. I like the fact you can turn off the aids easily. Dual-zone AC, heated and ventilated seats and an 11.8m turning circle for the SWB or 12.2m for the LWB. Peak 4X4 sells a lot of aftermarket and genuine things like wireless chargers for under 300 or Korean factory-fitted rear LED tail lights. You don't hear of people with DPF problems like the GWM.

Bought one SWB 2 months+ for my daily drive to work, tow my 2.3 t boat and a few trips. I never though I would buy a ssangyong but what a great car 40k with towbar and electric brake control. At start was wobly for 300k or so but quiten down 100%. Excellent drive , better power that my 16' v6 diesel territory and more economical. Average speed/economy you can choose from the options and 4000k later it's faultless. In general the review it's ok but I think ssangyong sould have come up with different suspension options and height from factory.
All in all nice car!

I have owned my musso for 120000klm no issues at all . been on the beach heaps and out west alot tows really well.
But i put the upgraded suspension not the sports but heavy load rated its way better.
And a set of bigger A/T tyres. Will buy again down the track.
Wife owns a Rexton
Mum bought a Korando
Brother bought a Musso
5 friends own SsangYongs now.

I know it's not perfect but I can't afford a D-Max or Ranger so this, the LDV T-60 or the GWM Cannon are really the only options if I want new. Also in it's favour is the ridiculous prices of mainstream used utes, unless I want one with 200, 000 km on it.

I got the short wheel base model, 5.2 meters long, perfect for city car parking . Ultimate with vented cooling seats or heated seats and heated steering wheel, 360 deg camera . Once you load the tub a bit, handles even better . Much better than my Holden Colorado i had before . 4x4 ute For 40k, winner .

The dealership is charging me $1800 for delivery fee, is that normal? I thought its a driveaway pricing normally.

But can you get parts? Early musses are scrap if you need a radiator, how will these not be the same?

Looks like there's some serious delay with the digital rev counter when changing gears. The gear change sounds snappy enough but the rev counter seems to not keep up.

Thanks for that, good review .. I wish someone would do an on road / off road review with the shorter wheelbase ELX for a change, way much better off road than the XLV, The Korean Army thinks so, they have hundreds of them they use as command vehicles .. Cheers

As Jeremy Clarkson once said. It’s like ordered 5.5 metres of car . Not outstanding in any area. But will perform the task, all in beige.( yes a Toyota reference )
