This is my dog, Tripper's first camping trip since his elbow surgeries.
Its winter time now at the fort in the woods and I wanted to see if we could stay dry and warm overnight while camping through a blizzard at the fort in the woods.
We cook up good food, collect a ton of firewood and ride out the blizzard while winter camping.

Not an active commenter on YouTube, but man I can't imagine how you keep sane when you're feeling powerless to help your kid. Most I've had to deal with regards sick kids, was a perforated appendix... And that's a straightforward problem to deal with. Hey Joe, I’m from down in Texas and the weather is extremely cold and snowy and a blizzard, which is pretty extreme for this part of the country. A couple of years ago I ran on to your videos and subscribed to your channel. I just want to say that by watching your videos, I learned about how to start a fire with wet wood by splitting it. I had to build a fire in my pit to stay warm because the power has been out so long, and the wood was wet from the snow. I thought of you and your videos on how to get a good fire started. I really enjoy your videos, and thanks for the helpful advice in them for times like these.
