I have the same egg cooker. I burnt my fingers the first time I used it. Now I lift all the eggs up by that center stem and put the whole thing in the water a knock the eggs into the water. No more hot fingers 😊

Oddly enough, the boiled eggs are really the best part of eating a seafood boil. Don’t argue with me. Also you should try boiled egg curry like Indian style. Very good

A soft to medium boiled egg is the absolute best. My favorite it’s closer to medium but still on the soft side it’s not so runny but the yolk is “damp.” Ugh amazing. Brings out so much flavor I don’t even use salt etc

just in case you are like me and forgot...that center pole is actually a handle so you can grab the whole rack of eggs and lower them into the ice bath. no burnt fingers. no dropped eggs.
