In this video, I show the best command to play manhunt with. This command is very easy to use and makes it just like how Dream plays his speed runner vs hunter videos. This is a Minecraft manhunt tutorial. It's how to make a compass point to a player in minecraft.

just wanted to ask if it works in the nether or not?

Does this work in 1.20? Also do you have to be holding the Shield or iron sword the whole time or just once and then you can get rid of it? Because It would be bad content to have to be holding the shield or iron sword in your hand the whole manhunt, or just keeping it in your hot bar, because the audience would think you are cheating.

for some reason when I make it, it just gets rid of all compasses around it, why?

just tried it in 1.17 snapshot 21w13a, and it worked fine, except of the compass the hunters didnt get. so we just gave us that with commands :)
But is there a change in 1.17 with the commands? or why dont we get an compass?

do we need to forceload the chunk after we do that, in order to be always loaded?

Since you said we really have to be holding the sword/shield when the command is entered, do we need like a third person who won't play to set it?

im not getting the compass do you have to be holding the item when the command is set or could it be that im testing this in singleplayer or that im in version 1.16.5

You can only use command blocks in creative so how is everyone supposed to be in survival when this command block is activated? Someone has to be in creative to activate it.
