A video for grinding tomatoes ?! Had you add chilli and onion we could have got instant chutney :) This is not how puree is made. Should a normal guy like me say this in Sanjeev Kapoor channel ?!

Basic thing of puree is no skin. Rough step is, as I know. Correct if I am wrong.

1) Boil water. Had to boil good.
2) Put whole tomatoes and switch off. Close with lid. Remove the eyes if you want to before putting in hot water.
3) Wait till water cools down along with tomato.
4) Take tomato out and peel it. The skin will come out and flesh remains
5) Then grind to fine paste. Remove seed if you want to before grinding. Removing seed is optional.
6) Add vinegar for more shelf life under refrigeration of course.
7) You can also pour in ice tray and make it cubes to increase shelf life.

in store bought tomato puree the colour is a little bit redder due to artificial preservatives u can get the same kinda effect by adding 2 or 3 slices of beetroot no taste at all of the beets
