If these were more art and less commerce, they might be really cool. As someone who has legitimately dug through trash bags of clothes before to try to find something that would fit me, I love the idea of making some rich person do that if it was for more than just the profits of a luxury brand

Was homeless before- THANK YOU! It’s not a damn aesthetic. It’s one of the worst experiences anyone can go through. Kanye and everyone else involved in this “fashion trend” are disgusting.

As someone who has been homeless, that's not how we get our clothes. We don't dig in bags of clothes unless we're stealing from donation bins.

We go to organizations or hospitals and people give us new underwear and socks in our size (it's not pretty, but clean). Used but sanitized clothes. Depending on the organization you get one outfit, or a couple outfits.

In Sacramento there is a thriftshop. On (I think) Tuesdays that gives homeless one empty garbage bag, and they get to walk around and fill the garbage bag with anything you want. Clothes, storage boxes, suitcases, carts, whatever is being sold there. It's been years since I went because I don't need it anymore. But we didn't dig through garbage bags to search for clothes. We just had to store our clothes in them because it's the cheapest way to store things.

I would rather spend that money buying decent sneakers for the homeless or young athletes who can't buy their own. Than spending a stupid amount money to wear their 'costume'. But I live with mom and we're behind on our bills.

It is inethical and immoral. I would assume that unsustainable manufacturing including sweatshops was utilised in the production of these ridiculous products which mock the real suffering of people.
