My 16” m2 max 32gb ram/1Tb 38 core comes tomorrow so excited. upgrading from 2017 macbook pro with 8gb ram 256gb storage

I have the M1 Max with the top RAM option and it crushes it at my studio job. The only times the fan kicks on is when I’m doing weird stuff in AfterEffects. And once inexplicably but I think it was related to my external editing hard drive being full. My coworker just got the M2 Max and she’s blown away.

Can’t believe we have M2 Max now. As if we just had the M1 Max yesterday. Liked that you did some tests and even used Da Vinci Resolve too! Also with 8K footage?! I don’t know what to say anymore. I actually took the M2 max MacBook Pro like 1 month ago the performance this laptop give with almost 15-20 hours battery life is astonishing, I have always been a PC user for the past 10 years, this is my first time using a Mac and I am never going back to PC

Great review of the M2 MBP! Hey Justine, here is what I would like to see you do: put together tutorials on Compressor and Motion similar to the one you did for FCP. I have watched your FCP course at least 3 times; it is 10 times better than anyone else out there!
