Great video, I think a lot of people are asking the question you’re working to answer here. Going custom is still the way, and if you’re willing to buy a used GPU, you can still get better price to performance!

I couldnt believe it when I saw that the NZXT Starter Prebuilt cost 1100 dollars I bought mine with basically the same specs but with a 1650 for only 700-800 dollars the prices of components mustve gone up a ton..

Nice content as always. Thanks.

Suggestion: it would be slightly better if your right side also gets a bit more lighting. Or maybe the light strip on that side of the video is making my mind adjust about it.

I built a pc that you made a video on and it’s still running strong. Adding an aio and 4 new fans to it tomorrow 👀

Loved your vid. 7:50 I bought one of these prebuild that came with the 1650 super and r5 3500 for about $500. I swapped out the motherboard and got a new case for it.

Got my new prebuilt pc last week for 820 bucks.

Ryzen 5 3600
2x8 gb 3200 mhz (ripjaw)
Gtx 1650 ddr6 oc (gigabyte) -NOT ANYMORE! I BOUGHT A RTX 3060 THIS WEEK :D
256 gb m.2 ssd (Samsung)
512 gb sdd (Kingston)
550 watt psu (be quiet)
A520MH mobo (gigabyte)
2x 120mm fans (be quiet)
1x 140mm fan (be quiet)
Nice case with good IO (Aero)
Full windows 10 pro install.

Also all drivers where up to date, xmp profile was set correct and the power setting was set to high performance.

For 820 bucks in today's market I think it's an absolute steal!

It’s still possible to build on a budget for about $350 (with sales tax so if you don’t have that even better). I picked up a R5 2400GE and I know it’s not a G but for $125 it’s still worth it. I also picked up a B450-F ROG STRIX Gaming II for $110 (amazing board by the way, it looks amazing and it’s compatible with every AM4 CPU including Ryzen 5000 out of the box). I also pickup 16GB DDR4 at 3200mhz for around $50, I’m hitting near 32 to 35 FPS Skyrim High settings 1080p just using Vega 11 integrated. So if you can get it for cheap Vega 11 rocks so whether you find the 3400G or 2400G at an acceptable price try and get it. Just know you can have a PC that plays a lot like a console if not better depending on setup and whether you OC or not. Best decision I have ever made, if you want it dedicate yourself and watch the prices (especially eBay).

The budget left was cooling solution and case money but different tastes and budgets. But I did buy an AIO instead of just a normal heat-sync.

Hey man! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a video on disk space. My pc regularly reaches 100% and I haven't been able to fix it. I have a 2 terabyte SSD, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core processor, and a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650 Super

This isn't so black and white for someone like me who wants to lease a PC. I wouldn't mind paying 100 extra bucks or so if I didn't have to pay for all of the parts out of pocket
