I don't think I've heard the voice from the AI anywhere else in the game, not that I can think of, anyway. Given that his obsession increases after the death of his wife, is it possible that he had her voice applied to the AI? Especially given his behavior pattern of using people around him as he does, it would make sense. Especially as it would mean that along with profiting from every time the machine came up, he'd also hear his wife's voice.

As much people give craps to fallout 4 and 76 graphics, I just love the new art style they went for the buildings they look so retro and yet futuristic with so much vibrant color on them

I would have loved to see how the fallout Universe was before the nukes

This world looks so vibrant in the outside yet so dark in the inside, I have began to fell in love with world building and to see a post apocalypse still have color is refreshing

I've done Hornwright Industrial like 6 or 7 times (rerolled a few character slots). I kinda get chills every time at "MOTHERLODE! ...remembers...". Motherlode being a very basic AI that is heavily controlled by it's programming, but deep down still has some sort of sentience and consciousness is very powerful some how. The whole scene where it surfaces, going from very automaton, almost run down, to hopeful when you fire off the repair drone to triumphant really kind of just felt amazing.

I love the fact that the YouTube ads I got for this video were for a company that was advertising how they have provided a network of cameras to towns like Parkersburg, WV, to allow the police to monitor the city and help the city's policing technology leap ten years forward.

I think the idea behind the laser grid is that, for security reasons, it's possible someone who isn't an Exec could get in the lift (like the receptionist accompanying a guest to the CEO's office, or that HR lady following Penny Hornwright up to then take a load of files back down. So the grids there to make sure if someone did accompany an exec into the lift they can't get too far.

Hey Oxhorn, great video. I think you may have missed a bit of lore of The motherlode, as I recall a nearby building has a holotape with more info on it. If I am remembering correctly, it's a newspaper office that may have employed the unfortunate reporter who was killed.

The motherlode might even be somewhat sentient hence it telling you it remembers what you did for it & also if you keep interacting with the external connection device in the office it eventually calls out to Daniel by name. I think he was trying to bring back a piece of his wife or a substitute for her given how obsessed he was with the project & probably had some kind of special relationship with the machine.
