The Mother Lode - The legend of the richest gold mine in American history

This documentary film, which is currently in development, is about the richest gold mine in American history -- The National, a fabled mining property located in northwest Nevada. Pound for pound it is hands down the richest gold mine EVER. But, just a few years after it was discovered, the miners lost the vein – and the property has pretty much been in litigation ever since. That’s all about to end, though, and whoever finds that vein, well… He’s going to have untold riches.

New owners have for many years now quietly been preparing to revive the mine, and they’re using state-of-the-art technology and techniques to quickly unearth The National's buried gold.
