Grizzly Discoveries just acquired the "Motherlode" mine. They invited me up to do some prospecting, shoot a video and collect some amazing mineral specimens found in the main pit. What an amazing experience and an exciting new acquisition for Grizzly. I hope to spend much more time here in the future.

Fun to watch your videos. Gold hunting is on my bucket list. I once found gold in a loose rock when I was camping in California. I do not recall where we were camping. The rock I had came up missing from my college boxes years ago.

You can get heated blankets for the winter. They will heat the space as well as a heater sometimes. I live in a small studio apartment and if I light a candle it will warm the whole room. I hope that helps. Blessings

If you want to find native copper you should go east a bit around lake Superior. Would be easiest to find some in Michigan (Keweenaw specifically) but you could also stay on the Canadian side. Also lots of other gem and minerals around the area. Agate, greenstone, silver, amethyst, epidote, gold, iron, etc. Just about anything can be found here.

The copper comes out of the rock here at 98% pure copper.

Dan Hurd, after things go back to a bit normal through Georgia and Carolinas Areas, I bet there are many places the devastating flood's have uncovered with good deposits of gold, Emeralds and ruby's, which those areas are known for to begin with

My goodness Dan, you Canalians {With a smile on my face. Love the Canadians that I have gotten to Know.} sure have some beautiful country up there. You also seem to have a lot of beautiful people too. I'm also envious of some of the natural resources that you have. Especially the gold prospecting opportunities, well, such as your pickerton claim and that crazy river with all that gold. LOL. Your videos put a smile on my face. Take care from Oregon.

I’ve held native copper.

Years ago I was living in Yellowknife, NWT. (During the last gold boom in the early 1980s)

We rented a boat on Prelude Lake and you could boat out to islands and pick up native copper off the ground. So soft you could bend it in your hands.

Got a similar place here in Oregon called the Cornucopia mine. The only reason why they stopped mining it. Is that they run the risk of breaking a volcanic crater lake and flooding the town of halfway. Still baffles my mind about how much material that they just leave lying around in tailings and Road grapples. When you actually find a motherload you really do find a motherlode. It always reminds me of the dwarf mines from the Lord of the Rings.
